DVTG starts shipments for Samsung.
Company: DVTG, Samsung.
In late August DVTG signed a contract with South Korean freight forwarding company on the cargo delivery of Samsung. On Septembere 3 the first train with the companies products was loaded in Vostochny port. The train will be unloaded at DVTG's own terminal Tuchkovo, the Moscow Region.
By the end of 2008 the company is going to ship more than 3700 TEU on this route.

A new regular terraqueous route to open in Asia.
China, Russia, The Republic of Korea and Japan have signed an agreement of collaboration in transport sphere. The sides plan to open a regular terraqueous route, connecting their ports. The line of 800 nautical lines length is planned to be launched in this October. It is to start in Hunchun city (North-Eastern China), then reach the Russian port of Zarubino by land, and then go through the South Korean port of Sokchkho to Japaneese Niigata. With te new transport corridor, it is planned to take only two days to get the goods from North-Eastern China to Japan, which allows to reduce the cost price of cargo transportation.

HHI lays down new tanker for PRISCO.

The new series of tankers for PRISCO is being built according to the schedule, and so HHI laid down the tanker Zaliv Vostok. A new service from FESCO.

The Korean Autonomous Region presentation in Vladivostok.
A presentation of the government of the Yanbian-Korean Autonomous Region, located in the Chineese province of Tszilin took place in Vladivostok.

The Yanbian Korean Autonomous Region is located in the Easten part of the province of Tszilin and takes over a quarter of it's square.
YKAR is situated on a junction of three countries: China, Russia and Korea. The advantages of it's geografical location attracts to the region lots of attention from the world community. Commercial and industrial partnership between Russia and YKAR is permanently developing.

"RailTransAuto" has opened a new terminal.

The filial company of "Russian Railways" and one of the Russian leading motor-vehicle transportres, "RailTransAuto", has opened a new "Mikhnevo" railway terminal for transfering motor-vehicles. It's square is over 15 hectares, and it is situated in Stupino region in Moscow oblast.
The cars with motor-vehicles are to enter the new "Mikhnevo" terminal from Korea and Japan through the Far-Easten seaports, from Europe through the seaports of Finland and Kaliningrad oblast, from China through Zabaikalsk and through other railway routes. The motor-vehicles for sale in the regions of Russia are going to be sent from Mikhnevo also by railway after custom registration.

Tagaz summed up it's sales for the first half-year.

During the first half of the 2008'th year, Taganrog Autocar Factory had sold 56 558 cars. 1062 Hyundai Elantra cars were also included in the report index. This model production started this year and it was gradually coming out into the planned monthly ranges.
So, in compare with the same period of 2007 year, Tagaz sales were almost doubled - they rose up for 88%.

The full-scale KIA Sorento manufacture in Izhevsk.

New step to the Transkorean main-line project realization.

The North Korean government had registered a Russian-Korean joint venture for constructing a modern container terminal at the port of Rajin and the Transkorean main-line modernization in order to annexate Transsyberian Main-line. The joint venture was registered in a special economic area of Rason for 49 years. The founders of the company were "Russian Railways" public corporation and the direction of the port of Rajin. Russian share inn the authorized capital stock was planned to be 70%, and 30% for North Korea.
According to the agreement, Russia would give the investments, and Korea would give the interest of the third mooring line and the bordering area.

Irkutsk is to get new blood-brother city.
A meeting with the Kwandong university delegation (Gangneung, South Korea) took place at the administration of Irkutsk. During the talks, the chance to make the cities blood-brothers was discussed. Russia carries out it's commitments of supplying black oil to North Korea.
During the six-side nuclear debates, which passed on the Korean Peninsula, a substitute Foreign Secretary of the Russian Federation A. Borodavkin told that Russia had carried out it's commitments of supplying black oil to North Korea as a humanitarian aid for the first half of 2008 year: 100'000 tons by two parts of 50'000 tons each. The leader of the Russian delegation also added that Russia was planning to supply 100'000 tons more approximately near October, 2008. The black oil should be delivered in two equal parts, samely.

A new motor transport joint venture to appear in Russia.

Japanese Kintetsu World Express Inc (KWE) company and South Korean Unico Logistics Co Ltd (Unico) declare to establish a motor transport joint venture on a par. A new company - Kintetsu-Unico Logistics LLC is planned to appear in September, 1, 2008, with the main offise situated in Moscow. The authorized capital stock is to amount Euro 1,2 million.

At first, the company's autopark will consist of 20 supresize trucks.

The first Korean graduation in Omsk.
The first handing of first class degrees for the first graduation of korean students took place at the Omsk state communications university. A delegation from the Korean railway ministry came to the city specially for taking part in the action.
Thirteen students from North Korea were studying in Omsk for six years, including a successful practicing on russian railway organizations, and after their successful graduate they would be going to work on the railroads of North Korea.

Korea plans to buy 32 Russian Ka-32 helicopters.

The "Doninvest" company, which ownes "Tagaz" has signed an investmemorandum of understanding with the administrations of Chungam province and Boryon-city, which suspects building a car-assembling plant on their territory.The plant is presumed to get components from the providers and produce the finished car sets for Hyundai, and also Tager and Road Pertner (ex-Ssang Yong models).

Container terminal in Nakhodka.

The administration of BPA jointly with 3 Korean companies: Glowis Co, Daewoo Logistics Corp. and Sinocor Merchant Marine Co is going to build a container terminal in Nakhodka. The cost of the project is over $ 109 millions. It is going to be the first foreign investition of the BPA company. The russian parthner of the project is Far-Easten Transport Group "DVTG".
The terminal will be built in three turns and is planned to be completely finished in 2010. It's capacity will be then over 400 000 teu. The first turn will cost $ 28,1 millions and the capacity of the terminal after it will be over 150 000 teu.

DVTG and Pantos Logistics represented the first turn of the "Tuchkovo" container terminal, $ 8,5 millions by the cost. The total cost of the terminal is going to be over $ 15 millions. The total area of the bonded warehouse of the terminal is 540 square meters, and the area of the second turn is planned to be 13-15 thousand sq.m. The terminal is computed for 2 000 containers, and it's turnover of goods is 50 000 teu. According to the company's plans, 20-25 000 teu will pass throug the terminal in 2007 and 50 000 teu in 2008.
"Tuchkovo" is expected to be a logistical buffer for elaborating, storing and delivering loaded containers to the plant for South-Korean "LG electronics" company. It will also work with it's empty containers. The terminal will firstly serve the house LG plant in Rouza (not far from Moscow).

Kovykta gas project.

The sides have signed an agreement about the interbank export credit to the amount of $50 millions.
